Sven Magnus Øen Carlsen

Sven Magnus Carlsen Øen ( November 30, 1990 , Bærum , Akershus , Norway ) is an International Grandmaster of ajedreznoruego crowned as the sixteenth World Chess Champion . Champion was proclaimed November 22, 2013 , at 22 years , 11 months and 23 days, 1 which was the second youngest champion in history after Garry Kasparov. It is also the second chess player in the Western Hemisphere to break the supremacy of the Ecole Soviet chess from Bobby Fischer. He won the title by beating defending champion Viswanathan Anand from 6½ - 3½ points ( 3 wins and 7 draws) in the home opener for the World title by FIDE in the Indian city of Chennai.

In 2010 he reached the top of the world rankings of the International Chess Federation . He was the youngest player to pass 2800 Elo , and achieving the number one position in the world to get to the age of 19 , and a list month.2 3 In February 2013 , Carlsen reached 2872 Elo the highest figure of all time ; surpassing 2851 which Kasparov won five in July 1999.4

On 26 April 2004 Carlsen became a Grandmaster at the age of 13 years, 4 months and 27 days, at that time the youngest in the world. Carlsen is the third Grand youngest to hold the title of GM in the history of the game after Sergey Karjakin and Parimarjan Negi Master.
